Selective Racking System

Selective Pallet Racking is the most common type of warehouse racking. Selective Racking is only one pallet deep; with a maximum of two racks being able to be placed back to back. It provides direct access to every pallet in storage. For low turnover volume & high differentiation product lines this type of racking is a must. This means it’s a First In First Out (FIFO) racking type, meaning the stock added in first is also removed first.

Double Deep Racking

Double Deep is similar to selective racking, but pallets are stored two rows deep instead of one. The machine operator places the back pallet into the system first, then places another pallet in front of it. It delivers increased storage density when compared to wide aisle, Selectivity is reduced by 30% over standard pallet rack, but 30% more pallets are stored for a given number of aisles. This increases productive use of floor space over a wide aisle system, offering the same sort of utilization as narrow aisle.

Very Narrow Aisle Racking System (VNA)

Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking is similar to Selective racking but decreases the aisle widths by 50% for greater storage capacity. The main advantage of VNA system is excellent use of space and direct access to any stored pallets. Used mainly for high volume and traffic areas, Stallion's Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Racking is the ideal choice for the optimal use of floor space and anywhere that has a narrow aisle access and high density storage needs.

Drive-In and Drive-thru Systems

Drive-In Rack and Drive-Thru Rack should be used for large volumes of like-product. It is cost-effective solution to high-density storage. However, dense storage can create space for up to seven times more product than floor stacking or three times more than pallet rack because pallets are stored back-to-back, floor-to-ceiling. This static system has rails running the depth of the rack for pallet placement. Drive-In Racking involves the forklift entering the racking from one side to load or retrieve the pallets which are stored more deeply.

Mobile Racking System

Mobile racking systems comprise pallet racking, which is mounted on mobile stands. Equipped with motors, the racking can then be moved via rail guidance so that the required racking aisle can be opened. Achieves significant time savings in the warehouse and with the handling of goods and also facilitates a high level of space optimisation. For maximum utilisation of your warehouse space, mobile racking is increasingly relevant in the drive for lower warehouse costs.

Shuttle Racking

Semi-automated, high-density and high-throughput system that uses a motor-driven shuttle to place and remove pallets within racking structure. This system can work either as FIFO or as LIFO, such as cold storage, food and beverage production, and meat processing

The shuttle cart moves along the rails, which allows an independent selection between entry and exit pallets, something that gives a more efficient warehouse management.

Gravity Flow Racking

Pallet flow racking consists of high-density storage structures formed by slightly sloped channels with rollers that enable pallets to slide into place. Palletized loads are inserted in the highest part of the channel and move by gravity to the opposite end, where they are ready to be removed.

Gravity flow rack systems to optimize space utilization, accelerate productivity, improve warehouse safety, and lower operational costs. These durable and flexible racks organize inventory, maximize pick efficiency, and ensure proper inventory rotation (FIFO).

Multi-tier racking System

Multi-tier racking systemsDesigned for warehouses with limited surface area, but with the possibility of growth in height. Each different floor level can be accessed by stairways and are linked by walkways. On each level a system of shelving is created for the different types of products.

Multi-tier shelving is particularly useful for businesses selling small products, such as pharmaceuticals or spare parts, or equally, for documents. In other words, products that need to be handpicked rather than by the pallet-load.

Cantilever Racking System

Cantiever racks are designed to accommodate long and bulky loads, such as metal profiles, plastic pipes, sheets & Timber. The system offers direct access to stored goods, making it easier to manage light loads manually and heavy loads using equipment.

Rack Supported Mezzanines

Rack Supported Mezzanine floors are a very practical way of utilizing the space above racking. This form of mezzanine is built from pallet racking materials and is generally the most cost effective ways of building a mezzanine. Rack Supported Mezzanine Floors integrate pallet racking into the floor space below the mezzanine. With rack-supported mezzanines, either aisles are built between the racking rows or complete platforms are built onto the racking units themselves.

What are the main features of a Rack Supported Mezzanine Floor?

  • Can be dismantled and moved with you to a new location
  • Affordable way of creating extra space on top of Pallet Racking
  • Maximises floor space by using the height of the existing building
  • All systems are custom designed to suit your unique operational requirements
  • The structures are easily assembled, disassembled and adjustable to any space
  • Ideal for Bulk Storage

Medium Duty Racking

Storage system for manual picking of products following the “man-to- product” principle. The long span racking is designed for warehouses where goods are deposited and removed manually from racks. This system also makes optimal use of warehouse height, as the higher levels can be accessed mechanically by devices that lift the operator to required height (stacker cranes or order picking forklift trucks) or via gang- ways located between racks.

Light Duty Shelving

The shelving for light and medium loads with the possibility of easily varying the position of its components. modular storage system for loads ranging from very lightweight loads for home and office solutions to industrial multi-storey storage solutions and is ideal for every picking need.

Mobile Shelving System

Mobile shelving is using, When space is extremely critical, save valuable floor space by reducing the room required for aisles without compromising high- capacity storage. It is a set of shelving units mounted upon mobile bases which move along rails. Thereby guaranteeing optimal order and distribution of the archive & warehouse as well as a better use of space.

Structural Mezzanine

Warehouse Mezzanine floors provide the ideal solution to maximising capacity without the hassle and cost of relocation. They allow you to utilise existing space to create unique storage solutions for your warehouse aside from the principal storage area
